Fujiya & Miyagi have a new LP ‘Ventriloquizzing’. Still beat strong and lyrically repetitive, but it still works for me. Mad skills on that Yo-Yo.
Iron & Wine has a new LP called ‘Kiss Each Other Clean’. His major label debut sees Sam Beam using synth’s, horns and funky rythyms… the future is here.
Holy Ghost! has a new album coming soon and this is the first single. Definitely has the DFA/LCD sound that I miss soo much. Seems to sample Freakout from James Murphy. You’ve got a heavy Yaz beat mixed with quirky David Bryne sounding lyrics. That’s what I call a win.

Arcade Fire’s 2002 Christmas Album was recorded well before the band’s
first EP and the full length Funeral and never officially released. It
was recorded at a party in Win and Régine’s apartment, and Win claims
that he is not singing in the recordings. Instead, his friends imitate
his voice. Copies were distributed to friends and family of the
band…
The album features a quirky mix of holiday covers and early versions
of original songs some of which were later released as part of
Arcade Fire EP and Funeral.
